Starting over

1 Corinthians 16:13 & 14, teach us 5 things that are key in our lives:

• Keep your eyes open; be on guard against spiritual dangers
• Hold tight to your convictions; standing firm in the faith
• Give it all you've got; be courageous
• Be resolute; be strong
• Love without stopping; doing everything in love and kindness

And you know what, if you fail, if you collapse, if you ruin what you have been striving for, its ok, God understands, God meets you where you at. All you need to do is pray for forgiveness, believe that you have been rescued, accept your convictions, accept that its a new day, and start over.

Of fasting, praying, searching, trying to understand

So, from the 2nd of May 2011, there will be a fast from:
Coffee, Sweets, Chocolate, Puddings, Deserts, Unnecessary sugar, Alcohol.
Striving towards clear thoughts, no unholy music, books, media.

A time of reflection, seeking to please the LORD our God and not myself.

God, our God the Father, I commit 21 days to you. 21 days to hear what You have to say, believe what You have in store, and understand what You are saying. I will earnestly seek your voice, your word, your sound. From a raging wind to a tiny whisper, whatever it may be, let me hear it please, oh Lord my God, let me seek your Face...
